And now, after over 25 years of luxury operations, the Jumeirah Burj Al Arab has announced a temporary closure, marking a new chapter in its storied existence.
This period of restoration will last 18 months, during which the hotel will receive upgrades and enhancements to its interiors, spearheaded by French interior designer Tristan Auer.

Since its grand opening in December 1999, the Jumeirah Burj Al Arab has become synonymous with Dubai, celebrated for its unique dhow sail-inspired architecture and its reputation as a ‘seven-star hotel’ offering lavish amenities. The hotel features 198 exclusive suites with a dedicated butler available around the clock. Each suite is designed to provide stunning vistas of the Arabian Gulf.
The Jumeirah Burj Al Arab is celebrated for its innovative design. Guests can enjoy the expansive Terrace Pool, which is equipped with temperature-controlled pools and luxurious cabanas. Additionally, the renowned Talise Spa offers a range of traditional and contemporary wellness treatments.
