Universal Studios

When you think of theme parks, Universal Studios is likely the first name that comes to mind. It's famous for its thrilling rides, impressive themes, and unique shows that create immersive experiences. With five locations worldwide, including Universal Studios Hollywood and Universal Orlando Resort in the USA, Universal Studios Japan, Universal Studios Singapore, and Universal Beijing Resort in China, Universal Studios is now planning its first theme park in India.

Bharti Real Estate, part of Sunil Mittal's Bharti Enterprises, is currently in discussions with Universal Studios to bring this major theme park to India. The new attraction is expected to be an indoor theme park located within a massive, upcoming 3-million-square-foot mall near the Delhi airport - the largest of its kind in India. The facility is anticipated to be completed by mid-2027.

In terms of location, the Universal Studios park will be situated close to the Dwarka Expressway in Haryana, just outside the Delhi-NCR area. According to Haryana's Chief Minister, this park will play a crucial role in the development of the region near Gurugram. The Haryana State Industrial and Infrastructure Development Corporation (HSIIDC) is in charge of overseeing the project's infrastructure planning, which is already in progress.

The indoor theme park will provide convenient access to the Indira Gandhi International Airport, Delhi Metro lines, and key highways.

What To Expect At Universal Studios

Universal Studios is not only known for its thrilling rides and experiences, but it is also celebrated for offering a variety of themes. It is the ultimate destination for families, friends, and anyone looking to have fun.

In terms of pricing, ticket passes typically start from INR 5000, and there are also two-day passes available. However, we expect that once it launches in India, the prices will be adjusted to reflect local standards.

As this story is still developing, stay tuned for more details.
