Thailand To Host Its First Ever Tomorrowland Music Festival In 2026

Thapanee Kiatphaibool, the head of the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT), shared that on June 25, Prime Minister Paetongtarn Shinawatra met with Tomorrowland CEO Bruno Vanwelsenaers and senior executive Filip Teelinck. They talked about working together to bring the famous Tomorrowland music festival from Belgium to Thailand.

On June 25, I spoke with Mr. Bruno Vanwelsenaers about the vision that started during Prime Minister Srettha’s time—a plan to host one of the top music festivals in Thailand. The project is currently being planned and studied. Thailand won't just be the venue; it will be the heart of the festival. The government is dedicated to incorporating Thai culture and involving Thai people at every level of the event. This initiative aims to benefit Thai citizens."
