Swiggy Instamart has gained significant popularity due to its quick delivery service. The store offers various daily groceries, including fruits, grains, vegetables, chips, and dips, catering to all customer needs. However, Swiggy Instamart is making headlines not for its customer service, but for a major technical glitch. This issue reportedly resulted in unusual cash discounts being offered to users. The incident came to light through a post on Reddit. Read on to know more about it.

A Reddit post shared a screenshot under the title "Someone is definitely losing their job at Swiggy," featuring a banner from the app that said: "Enjoy up to ₹5,00,000 in free cash. Apply it to your next order over ₹199."

According to the post, users unexpectedly received offers ranging from ₹4,000 to ₹500,000 in free credits on Swiggy Instamart. Many seized the opportunity to place orders, with many being successfully delivered.

Users acted quickly, placing orders with the 'free cash,' leading to huge discounts. For instance, one order priced at ₹4,081 ended up costing just ₹81, while another totaling ₹56,347 was brought down to just ₹1.

But the initial thrill was short-lived as Swiggy began reaching out to customers, notifying them of the error and requesting the return of the items bought during this mishap, as mentioned in the Reddit post.

What do you think about this situation? If you had the chance, what would you have ordered?
