Under the Hotels and Restaurants discipline, India’s Risso in Pune bagged the 11th rank on the World’s Most Beautiful Restaurants for 2026 by Prix Versailles. It is a beautiful restaurant located in the flatlands of Pune Wine Country.
The restaurant is situated within Hotel Irada in Hinganigada near Pune, and is set amid the vineyards. It was formerly a billionaire’s mansion and is surrounded by reserve forest and vineyards. Prix Versailles noted that the restaurant’s design includes various elements like polished wood, warm-toned furnishings, green marble, and Solomonic columns. The large windows of the restaurant offer beautiful views of the surrounding vineyards.
The interiors of this restaurant combine Indian and Mediterranean influences beautifully. It was designed by Humming Tree Architects. The restaurant focuses on Southern Italian cuisine with an elite beverage planning programme.

The Only Indian Restaurant On The List
Rosso is the only Indian restaurant ranking on the list of the 16 establishments selected this year.
