Mumbaikars, here’s some exciting news for your daily commute! The much-awaited Aqua Line, also known as Mumbai Metro Line 3, has successfully launched. It is already making life easier for commuters. This line, which connects areas like Bandra and SEEPZ, is a game-changer, offering a quick alternative to the usual road traffic. Now, there’s more good news on the horizon! We have updates for Mumbai Metro's Gold Line. The Gold Line, or Mumbai Metro Line 8, will bridge the gap between Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport and the upcoming Navi Mumbai International Airport.

This metro corridor, part of the city’s bigger Metro Master Plan, will ease travel between these two points, saving time and reducing road congestion.

The Mumbai Metro's Gold Line is expected to be ready by October 2026. It will cost around INR 15,000 crores to build. Once completed, it will cover about 35 kilometers. It aims to carry up to 9 lakh passengers daily, making it a vital part of Mumbai’s growing transport network.

Though construction hasn’t begun yet, work is expected to pick up speed with the opening of the Navi Mumbai International Airport. This new metro line will surely be a real blessing for commuters.
