Bengaluru's Kempegowda International Airport has achieved a remarkable milestone, securing the title of 'Best In Arrival' for the third consecutive year. The airport was honored with the Airports Council International's (ACI) Airport Service Quality (ASQ) Award for 'Best Airport for Arrivals Globally' in 2024. ACI World is a well-respected program that assesses airports based on passenger experiences, taking into account factors such as comfort, convenience, cleanliness, and quality of service.

The consistent praise from travelers has contributed to this achievement, as airport officials highlight the efficient and user-friendly arrival protocols. Key features that have garnered positive feedback include expedited immigration and customs processes, quick baggage retrieval, high-speed Wi-Fi, and an overall streamlined experience that ensures a hassle-free arrival.

In addition to this prestigious accolade, Kempegowda Airport has also set a record for passenger traffic in 2024, surpassing the 40 million mark for the first time. In 2024, the airport welcomed 40.73 million passengers, a notable increase from 37.2 million in 2023. A record was set on October 20, 2024, when 126,532 passengers utilized the airport in a single day. Furthermore, on October 17, 2024, the airport recorded a peak of 782 Air Traffic Movements (ATMs), with an annual daily average of 723 ATMs. The airport has also expanded its connectivity by adding 11 new domestic routes and 4 international services.
