Sources say that charges have been revised higher for travel of infants, unaccompanied minors, and excess baggage, among other services. For infant travel on domestic flights, the charge has been increased from INR 2,200 to INR 3,000, with the amount varying on international routes.
IndiGo Infant Fee Raised
For infants, the pre-booking price has been increased from INR 2,000 to INR 2,250. For airport counter purchases, the price has been increased from INR 2,500 to INR 3,000, applicable to infants under 2 years of age. A ticket needs to be booked for them, even though they do not receive a separate seat under the arrangement.
The fee for unaccompanied minors has been increased by INR 999, meaning individuals availing the service will now have to pay INR 5,999. This service applies to children traveling without an accompanying adult, in accordance with the airline’s applicable rules.
On international flights, the unaccompanied minor service will cost INR 12,999.

Priority Check-in & IndiGo Excess Baggage Charges Raised
Carrying excess baggage will now cost INR 800 per kg, up from INR 700 earlier. This means an additional INR 100 cost per extra kilogram.
IndiGo has increased the fee for priority check-in and boarding by INR 200, raising it to INR 650 from INR 450 earlier.
The airline has also increased the price of its Fast Forward service – a service providing priority check-in and boarding. The fee has been hiked from INR 500 to INR 650, while the charge for international flights stands at INR 850 per sector.

Reports describe it as a routine update to IndiGo’s ancillary charges.
