In a statement released by the airline, it explained that the suspension of this flight route is due to high operational costs amid the rising fuel prices and longer flight routes owing to the ongoing war waged on Iran by the US. Since the US started the war, Aviation Turbine Fuel (ATF) prices have skyrocketed. Owing to the closure of airdomes in the Middle East, flight routes have also become significantly longer, needing more fuel than ever.
