All About India Biennale 2026

What Is India Biennale 2026?

The India Biennale 2026, which is officially the India Art, Architecture & Design Biennale, is a massive citywide cultural festival. It is organized by the Government of India’s Ministry of Culture and will be hosted in Delhi.

This event features exhibitions, architectural showcases, large-scale outdoor installations, heritage walks, talks, performances, and a dedicated Student Biennale. The theme for this year’s biennale is “Tat Tvam Asi,” which translates to “You Are That” - Reconnecting In The Age Of Distraction.

The exhibition has invited various architects, artists, and designers to make works that slow the eye, reconnect with the surroundings, and recharge from the weariness of modern life.

“This biennale will be creating a dialogue between the city’s architectural and historical legacy and contemporary creative practices,” said the ministry, as per The Print.
