Growth In The Number Of Young Travelers

All these years, every time you would think of a solo traveller, the image is either of a corporate employee or a mid-aged leisure traveller. The data from Delhi airport

Shows a growth in the number of young travelers in the age group of 18 to 25. The reason behind their travel is varied, ranging from holidays, work opportunities, to education and leisure visits.

International solo travel is growing rapidly, with women accounting for a significant share of it. The rise in women traveling solo by air, especially during conventional hours, raises an important question as to why the same confidence is not found at other transportation options.

The answer is that railway stations and bus stops experience fluctuations in activity. But at airports, there is no closing time, with security remaining visible all the time. There is passenger traffic through the night, with retail outlets staying open too.
