For football lovers and fans of Lionel Messi, visiting Argentina is definitely a dream destination. Known as one of the greatest players ever, Messi hails from this vibrant South American country. Besides this, Argentina is also famous for its diverse geography, featuring both the highest and lowest points in the Southern Hemisphere. Additionally, Argentina is also the birthplace of the world's first animated movie. If this excites you to explore Argentina, there's great news! The country has relaxed its visa requirements for Indian travelers who hold a valid US visa. According to Ambassador Mariano Caucino, Indian citizens no longer need to apply for a visa to enter Argentina, as they can now visit the country with just a US visa.

Caucino shared this update on X, formerly known as Twitter, stating, “The Argentine Government has made it easier for Indian tourists with US visas to enter our country.” He believes this development is excellent news for both Argentina and India and looks forward to welcoming more Indian visitors.

This visa policy change comes as India and Argentina strengthen their collaboration in various fields, including agriculture, animal husbandry, and dairy production. As the second-largest nation in South America, Argentina is famous for its rich culture, delectable food, fine wine, vibrant tango dances, stunning natural landscapes, and countless adventure activities like hiking, skiing, and mountaineering.

Why Should Argentina Be On Your List

Buenos Aires serves as the capital of Argentina, and it's fascinating to note that this city is where Tango originated in the late 1800s. Additionally, around 97% of Argentinians have European roots, primarily from Italy and Spain, allowing you to enjoy a taste of European culture in this South American nation.

For those interested in history, Argentina boasts 11 UNESCO World Heritage sites. Furthermore, it is the second largest country in South America after Brazil and ranks as the eighth largest country in the world.
