On Thursday, the Western Railway (WR) announced it would run three pairs of special trains. This decision was taken for the convenience of all the candidates appearing for the National Eligibility and Entrance Test (NEET-2026). This will also help in meeting the demand for additional travel. The bookings for all these special trains will be available from June 19. The special trains will be running on key routes across Gujarat and Maharashtra. Below are the three pairs of special trains.
Maninagar–Bandra Terminus–Maninagar Special Train
- Train no. 09472/09471 Maninagar–Bandra Terminus–Maninagar will have two trips.
- Train 09472 will depart from Maninagar at 8:30 AM on Saturday, June 20. It will reach Bandra on the same day at 6:15 PM.
- The return train, Train no. 09471, will depart from Bandra Terminus at 9:15 PM on Saturday, June 20. It will reach Maninagar at 6 AM on Sunday, June 21.
- This special train will stop at Anand, Vishwamitri, Bharuch, Surat, Navsari, Valsad, Vapi, Palghar, and Borivali railway stations in both directions.
- It will have sleeper and general class coaches.

Bhavnagar Terminus–Gandhigram–Bhavnagar Terminus
- Train no. 09254/09253 Bhavnagar Terminus–Gandhigram–Bhavnagar Terminus will have two trips.
- Train 09254 will depart from Bhavnagar Terminus at 11:40 AM on Saturday, June 20. It will reach Gandhigram on the same day at 4:10 PM.
- The return train, Train no. 09253, will depart from Gandhigram at 8:00 PM on Sunday, June 21. It will reach Bhavnagar Terminus at 12:35 AM on Monday, June 22.
- This special train will stop at Bhavnagar Para, Sehore, Dhola, Botad, Dhandhuka, Dholka, Bavla, and Sarkhej railway stations in both directions.
- It will have sleeper and general class coaches.

Okha-Gandhinagar Capital-Okha
- Train no. 09554/09553 Okha-Gandhinagar Capital-Okha will have two trips.
- Train 09554 will depart from Okha at 5 AM on Saturday, June 20. It will reach Gandhinagar Capital on the same day at 3:00 PM.
- The return train, Train no. 09553, will depart from Gandhinagar Capital at 8:55 PM on Sunday, June 21. It will reach Okha at 6:40 AM on Monday, June 22.
- This special train will stop at Dwarka, Bhatia, Khambhaliya, Canalus, Jamnagar, Hapa, Paddhari, Rajkot, Wankaner, Than, Muli Road, Viramgram, Surendranagar, Ambli Road, and Chandolia B railway stations in both directions.
- It will have sleeper and general class coaches.
