Tired of the Mumbai traffic? A new infrastructure project has been recently announced that will make traveling between the main city and Bhayandar even easier. The Chief Minister (CM) of Maharashtra, Devendra Fadnavis, announced that Mumbai is slated to get a corridor that will connect Nariman Point in South Mumbai to Bhayander. The best part is that the corridor will be absolutely free from signals, so you won’t have to be stuck in traffic jams for hours!

He also stated that as of now, the major burden of the traffic on the route between South Bombay and Bhayandar is being borne by the Western Express Highway (WEH). In fact, as per his estimates, nearly 60% of the city’s traffic depends on the WEH. Once the signal-free corridor is ready, the congestion on WEH will be relieved significantly.
