The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) has officially declared a mandatory holiday for all government, municipal, and private schools and colleges in Mumbai. Mumbai-Pune Train Services Shut Due To Bhor Ghat Landslides

Twin landslides hit the Mumbai-Pune train tracks — one near Thakurwadi and a second on the middle line between Khandala and Monkey Hill. Because all three major lines (Up, Down, and Middle) are heavily blocked by mud and boulders, Central Railway has suspended premium transit.
