Early Morning

1. Bagbazar Sarbojanin

Bagbazar Sarbojanin was established in 1919 and is loved for its traditional Ekchala idol. Ekchala means all the deities have one single backdrop. It is one of the oldest and most iconic Durga Puja communities in Kolkata. One of the best things about visiting it early in the morning is that you might get to witness the sacred morning aarti without much crowd, unlike the evening aarti. The traditional dhaki drumming, white and pith decorations, and aristocratic idol proportions are what make this pandal a must-visit in Kolkata.
