Indian Ocean LIVE At Virasat 2026

About Indian Ocean And What To Expect

The Indian rock band Indian Ocean is widely known for blending traditional Indian music with Western rock instruments and jazz-spiced rhythms. This means blending classical ragas, shlokas, and folk songs with guitars, drums, and bass.

They are loved and celebrated for their musical and lyrical themes that often touch on mythology, Sufism, environmentalism, and social revolution. You can surely expect their signature tracks, like “Ma Rewa”, “Mann Kasturi Re”, “Bandeh”, and “Kandisa”, which have helped define alternative rock in India. There will be songs from their recent album as well.

The band has also composed music for parallel and independent cinema like Peepli Live, Black Friday, and Masaan. So you can expect a mix of them as well.
