Mumbai is filled with restaurants that can teleport you to your favourite international destination in no time through authentic food. While many restaurants just claim to serve authentic international flavors, a few actually deliver. We, at Unstumbled, with our series Dine & Dish, explore new restaurants in Mumbai, and now we thought of exploring the newly opened Seasee. The restaurant is known to serve Thai, Vietnamese, Malaysian, and Singaporean cuisines, but let’s see if it is worth visiting and trying!

Seasee Food Review
Nutting To See Here
Nutting To See Here is a fun, nutty cocktail made using peanut butter-washed Bourbon whisky, lime juice, pineapple, sugar syrup, and aromatic butters. It was sweet and had a strong peanut flavor, which made it very nutty in taste.
Cost: INR 750
Island Hopper
Island Hopper is made using Pandan coconut syrup, Tequila, pineapple juice, and lime juice. It is one of the most popular drinks on Seasee’s cocktail menu and a massive hit among people who love tropical drinks. We can totally make out why it is one of the most popular drinks after trying it. It is bright, refreshing, tropical, and perfect to pair with dishes that have a fiery heat.
Cost: INR 850

Morning Glory
Morning Glory is a highly nutritious green vegetable dish that is famous in Chinese and Southeast Asian cuisine. It has quick wok-tossed water spinach with garlic and yellow bean sauce. This dish is known for the crunchy texture of water spinach and savoury, spicy flavors. We tried it and also liked it, though it did not have that burst of freshness; it was tasty to try.

Prawn Rice Paper Roll
Prawn Rice Paper Roll basically has plump, perfectly poached prawns along with some julienned vegetables tightly wrapped in delicate rice paper sheets. A handful of Vietnamese herbs is added here, like cilantro and mint. It is served with a sweet, savoury, and tangy sauce, but when we tried it, we thought it had its own amazing flavors even without being dipped in the sauce. It was just yum!
Cost: INR 400
Rating: 9/10
Truffle Edamame Dumplings
Truffle Edamame Handcrafted Steam Bites are basically dim sums stuffed with truffle and edamame. We tried them, and to be honest, very ho-hum. It had nothing exceptional and was like any other edamame dumpling. But the sauces served with it were really great.
Cost: INR 480
Rating: 6/10
Hainanese Chicken Rice
Hainanese Chicken Rice is a staple dish in Southeast Asian cuisine, especially in Singapore and Malaysia. The chicken is gently poached at a sub-boiling temperature until it is juicy and tender. It is served with jasmine rice pre-fried in chicken fat and spices and aromatic sauces. It felt more spice-based than broth-based, as the authentic one tastes. But it tastes really good.

Pad Thai & Thai Curry
This is one of the most satisfying sweet, sour, and creamy flavor combinations in Thai cuisine. Pad Thai is flat rice noodles stir-fried in a hot wok with a distinct sauce and Green/Red or Massaman Curry. The owner served us Pad Thai & Thai Curry, and it tasted absolutely good! They know how to serve the best Thai food for sure.
Final Thoughts: Dine Or Dish
So how was it? Well, we paid INR 4,335 for this meal. Some dishes felt super authentic, while some were a bit desi-fied. But this place has surely nailed Pad Thai and Thai Curry! The Hainanese Chicken Rice and Morning Glory Salad were enjoyable too, although they lean a little more towards flavourful than the traditional versions you’d find in Vietnam. So do we recommend it? Yeah, surely worth a try!
