IndiGo, one of India's largest passenger airlines, has announced that it will be resuming direct flights from Kolkata to Guangzhou (CAN) with daily, non-stop services commencing on October 26. This decision closely follows the announcement from the Ministry of External Affairs about the normalization of ties between the two countries. Additionally, IndiGo plans to introduce direct flights from Delhi to Guangzhou soon.

One-way tickets in Economy from Kolkata to Guangzhou cost INR 15,000, with a flight duration of 3.5 hours. For return flights, the pricing starts at INR 29,000. As of October 3, 2025, tickets for the Kolkata-Guangzhou route will be available for purchase through IndiGo’s official website and mobile app.
