Would you ever pray to a Royal Enfield before hitting the road? In Rajasthan, there’s a shrine where people do exactly that. Known as Bullet Baba Temple or Om Banna Shrine, it is located on the Pali-Jodhpur highway and is dedicated to a 350cc Royal Enfield Bullet associated with Om Singh Rathore, popularly known as Om Banna. According to local legend, Om Banna died in a motorcycle accident in 1988. After the accident, police reportedly took his bike to the station, only for it to mysteriously reappear at the accident site. The story goes that this happened repeatedly, leading locals to believe the motorcycle had a supernatural connection to its late owner. A shrine was eventually established, and the bike became an object of worship. Today, devotees stop to offer flowers, incense and prayers, tie sacred threads and seek blessings for safe journeys. While the motorcycle’s alleged return to the accident site remains part of local folklore, the shrine itself is real and continues to draw devotees and curious travellers [Bullet Baba Temple Rajasthan, Om Banna Shrine Jodhpur, Royal Enfield Bullet temple, Rajasthan unique temples, Pali Jodhpur highway attractions, Indian road trip traditions, motorcycle worship India] #BulletBaba #RajasthanTourism #RoyalEnfield #IncredibleIndia
