A new cruise service will soon launch from Port Blair to Barren Island, home to India’s only active volcano. This round-voyage cruise, which is initiated by the Andaman and Nicobar Administration, will have departures every Friday night and return on Saturday afternoon. The cruise will allow passengers to witness stunning views of the volcano.

Cruise To Barren Island Itinerary
The cruise will depart from Haddo Wharf in Port Blair at 9 pm every Friday, and arrive at Barren Island by Saturday afternoon.
This includes the black volcanic rocks, central cone, and occasional plumes or lava flows if the volcano is erupting.
