Bengaluru, known as the Silicon Valley of India, is a beautiful and popular city in South India. One of its most iconic landmarks is Vidhana Soudha, a magnificent example of neo-Dravidian architecture and a symbol of pride for Karnataka. This impressive building, characterized by four domes at its corners, houses the Legislative Chamber of the state. At night, it shines brightly, creating a stunning sight. And now, starting in May 2025, tourists can take guided tours of Vidhana Soudha, thanks to the State government approving the Tourism Department’s initiative.
Situated in Bengaluru, Karnataka, the Vidhana Soudha tour offers both domestic and international tourists an opportunity to explore the history and architectural importance of this remarkable structure. Currently, visitors can only admire the Vidhana Soudha from outside and take photographs.
The Vidhana Soudha tours will be available on public holidays from 8 am to 6 pm. Groups of 30 tourists will be accompanied by designated Tourist Officers, with the Assistant Director of the Tourism Department overseeing the tours. A mobile application for online ticketing will also be built to facilitate visitor management.

The Public Works Department will create appropriate signage, and a tour route map will be established in collaboration with both the Public Works Department and the Vidhana Soudha Security Division. This route should be approved by the Department of Personnel and Administrative Reforms.
