Scheduled flights will also be available to Goa (starting December 25, 2025), Delhi and Kochi (from December 26, 2025), and Ahmedabad (beginning December 31, 2025).
By being among the first carriers to operate from NMIA, Akasa Air marks a significant step in its growth trajectory. The establishment of NMIA is expected to enhance capacity and efficiency standards for airports in India, and Akasa’s early operations at this location demonstrate its dedication to creating a future-oriented network that is both adaptable and expansive.

Akasa Air plans to gradually expand operations from NMIA, aiming for 300 domestic and 50 international flights per week. In alignment with its broader strategy, the airline also intends to develop 10 parking bases by the close of 2027, with a particular focus on enhancing its international services to key markets in the Middle East and Southeast Asia.
