The long-awaited bullet train project of India has another update. The Ministry of Railways has recently shared the very first official symbolic visual display of the Mumbai-Ahmedabad High Speed Rail (MAHSR). The look was installed on one of the gates of the Rail Bhavan in New Delhi. This has reignited public interest in the developments regarding this landmark project. India’s First Symbolic Bullet Train Look
The Ministry of Railways has recently shared the very first official symbolic look of the bullet train. The symbolic image was displayed outside Gate No. 4 of the Rail Bhavan.

It exhibits a striking orange and silver train with eye-like headlights. It bears a striking resemblance to the orange Vande Bharat trains that show a consistency in aesthetic for long-distance trains.

What Is The Updated Timeline Of The Bullet Train?
After the initial struggles and delays, the Ministry of Railways has shared a dual-phased timeline for the MAHSR. The first segment is slated to have its trial services later this year. This will be the priority section in Surat and Bilimoria in Gujarat.
If reports are to go by, the entire 508-km length of the MAHSR will begin commercial operations on August 15, 2027, coinciding with the national independence day.
