Where Is The Jodhpur RIFF 2026?
The Rajasthan International Folk Festival 2026 will take place from 22nd October to 26th October. This festival features a range of musical traditions, including folk, classical, and contemporary music, as well as dance, storytelling, and craft workshops.
The festival’s primary venue is the majestic Mehrangarh Fort, in Jodhpur. Jodhpur RIFF 2026 Artist Line-up
Ashwini Bhide-Deshpande
A Padma Shri awardee, Ashwini Bhide-Deshpande is a distinguished vocalist of the Jaipur-Atrauli Khayal Gayaki tradition. Hailed as an exceptional talent among the new generation of veterans, she brings both reverence and fresh insight to Hindustani music. She takes on the complex ragas of her gharana, compositions so demanding that few vocalists attempt them. But she is just as at home in lighter forms, Thumri-Dadra, Bhajans, Abhangs and Sanskrit stutis and stotras, many set to her own compositions.
DOBBY

DOBBY, the ARIA Award-winning Filipino-Murrawari musician, drummer, rapper and composer from Australia, brings his music to India for the very first time. Rooted in storytelling, he fuses hard-hitting beats, live instrumentation and urgent lyricism into performances that leave a lasting impact.
Camila y Silvio
Camila y Silvio bring their sonic universe to Jodhpur RIFF 2026 for the first time in India. One of the most celebrated duos in contemporary Latin American folk music, they carry the folklore of zamba, chacarera and cumbia with a warmth that feels both intimate and immense.
Jasnath Ji Ka Siddha
Jasnath ji Maharaj, a 15th century folk deity of Bikaner, is believed to be an incarnation of Shiva. In his honor, a small but devoted number of followers still practice the siddha fire dance today. The siddha is a lively spiritual practice demanding complete mastery of the senses. Set to an elemental, continuous, trance-like music repertoire, it usually takes place at the culmination of a jaagaran, an all-night vigil.
Mangka Mayanglambam
Musician, dancer, educator and passionate advocate for Manipuri folk performing arts, Mangka Mayanglambam is one of the last remaining players of the pena, a traditional Meitei instrument once celebrated in the royal courts of Manipur. Her performances blend music, movement and dance, drawing deeply from the folklore and mythology of Meitei culture. She is also a mentor to young musicians, many of them girls learning pena and folk performance under her guidance.
Tarini Tripathi
Tarini Tripathi is a third-generation Kathak dancer and fitness professional who sees a synergy between movement and energy. Tarini has trained and performed alongside her mother Gauri Sharma Tripathi and grandmother Padma Sharma, both eminent names in the world of Kathak. For her, dance is a dynamic extension of one’s being, a space to express what one is often afraid to do in everyday life. As she gains mastery over the Kathak form, she has also been adapting it into a fitness course of her own, drawing on her training as a certified Strength and Conditioning coach.

These are just a few of the honorable artists and personalities performing at the Jodhpur RIFF 2026. You can check details of the full artist line-up on the official Instagram handle of RIFF Jodhpur 2026.
