The striking scenes featured in the gallery include Vintage recruitment drills and early drill practices at Bengaluru’s iconic Ulsoor Lake, combat engineering feats, including teams rapidly repairing breaches in active railway lines, and historic victory parades and troop life.

The museum also has prized indoor and outdoor possessions that bridge regional history with global battlefields. Exhibits on engineering marvels showcasing historic engineering equipment, tactical gear, and prototype mines are also displayed.
It also has unique global war trophies and curiosities like a 13th-century fired clay vase from China and a heavy bronze bell from China’s Peiping Temple, an authentic Japanese samurai sword, rare, hand-drawn military campaign maps of Burma and Indo-China rendered on fine silk, and an emotional, intricately crafted mural created by a Thambi (a term of affection for Madras Sappers’ troops).
