Mobility Plan To Lead The Decision
The officials mentioned that the final decision will be taken based on the Comprehensive Mobility Plan (CMP) for the city. This plan is currently being prepared by Maha Metro. The CMP will assess population growth, traffic patterns, and future mobility needs.
This CMP by Maha Metro will be submitted to the Nashik Municipal Corporation (NMC). It will present the key findings on the urban transport needs. The choice of which metro system to adapt will be completely dependent on the projected demand and technical feasibility. This plan is expected to be completed within a month.
