Pilgrims from around the world looking to go on Umrah during the 1448 AH can start applying, securing permits, and arranging travel itineraries. To maintain maximum service quality and balance visitor numbers across holy sites, Saudi authorities have established a non-negotiable operational timetable extending into early spring 2027. The final date for the electronic issuance of Umrah visas is March 9, 2027 (Shawwal 1, 1448 AH).

International pilgrims must pass through Saudi border entry portals by March 23, 2027. All Umrah package holders arriving under this season’s block must complete their pilgrimage and exit the Kingdom by April 7, 2027 (Shawwal 30, 1448 AH).

Nusuk Rules And Hospitality Violation Penalties
The entry process remains entirely centralized within Saudi Arabia’s unified digital platform, the Nusuk App. The app acts as the mandatory gateway for processing permits, tracking hotel contracts, and scheduling entry times into the Grand Mosque (Masjid al-Haram).
