The darshan will follow a standard operating procedure (SOP), with four 15-minute slots throughout the day.
Each 15-minute slot will easily accommodate up to 50 pilgrims. This means that 200 elderly and differently-abled devotees will be able to use this facility daily – at both the Kedarnath Temple and Badrinath Temple.
Here are the dedicated darshan slots for the elderly and the differently-abled:
- 8 AM to 8:15 AM
- 10 AM to 10:15 AM
- 3 PM to 3:15 PM
- 5:15 PM to 5:30 PM
However, individuals who are not above the age of 70 and those not differently-abled will not be entitled to these special darshan slots. Individuals who meet the criteria for these slots must present Aadhaar cards and other documents to verify their age or disability status.
Having dedicated slots for the elderly and the differently-abled will make the darshan experience smoother and less hectic.
