A new Ayodhya to Mumbai Amrit Bharat Train is all set to commence operations from today, April 28, onwards. This new route will be flagged off by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The Ayodhya to Mumbai Amrit Bharat Train will be the fastest travel option between Ayodhya and the Lokmanya Tilak Terminus (LTT) in Mumbai. The total travel time is approximately 25 hours and will average at a speed of 53 kilometers per hour.

From Ayodhya to Mumbai, it will run as train number 02212, and on the return journey, it will be numbered 22111/22112. The train will commence its maiden journey around 4:45 PM from Ayodhya and will reach LTT around 11:05 PM on 29 April. The return journey is said to depart from LTT around 7:55 AM from LTT and reach Ayodhya at 10:15 AM on the following day.

After the inaugural run, the Amrit Bharat Train will operate weekly on this route, offering travellers a frequent and regular option. There are a total of 22 coaches in the train. Eight of these are Sleeper, 11 are General, two are SLR, and one pantry car.
