As security protocol, it was reported on November 11 that Gates 1 and 4 of the station would be closed and that Gates 2 and 3 would be used for entry and exit. However, an official announcement by DMRC on the same day confirmed that Lal Qila metro station would be closed altogether “due to security reasons”.
