Gurugram To Vadodara

Traveling between cities is set to become faster with the construction of the Mumbai-Delhi Expressway. This expressway, being built in phases, has made significant progress, particularly with the completion of the Kota tunnel, which is now nearing its final stage. Once opened, this new route will save commuters a substantial amount of time, with the travel duration from Gurugram to Vadodara decreasing from 20-22 hours to just 10 hours.

Special care has been taken to protect local wildlife around the tunnel in Rajasthan, particularly near the Mukundra Tiger Reserve. The design and construction of the tunnel prioritize the safety of animals, ensuring minimal disturbance to their habitat.

The expressway will connect important regions of Haryana, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, and Maharashtra to Delhi and is expected to cost around Rs 1 lakh crore. Initially, the road will feature eight lanes, allowing vehicles to travel at speeds of up to 120 km/h, with the potential to expand to twelve lanes over time if needed.
