You can now purchase Mumbai Metro tickets through ride-hailing apps like Uber and Rapido. That’s right! Rapido currently only allows for Aqua Line ticket purchases; Uber gives you the option to buy tickets for Line 1. Keep reading for all the details!

To book tickets via Rapido, simply open the app and look for the Aqua Line ticket booking feature. From there, choose your starting and ending stations, and complete your booking. However, please note that at this time, Rapido only supports one-way ticket purchases.

Uber, on the other hand, offers a specialized section for Mumbai Metro Line 1 users. The app is user-friendly, allowing you to easily navigate to book your tickets. Like Rapido, you can only purchase a one-way ticket through the Uber app. For a limited time, Uber is even offering a discount of up to 10% on ticket purchases. Furthermore, if you book your metro tickets via Uber, you can enjoy a 30% discount on Uber bike rides to and from the metro station.

What To Know About Mumbai Metro Line 1 

The Versova-Andheri-Ghatkopar corridor is an 11.40 km elevated corridor that enhances connectivity between the Eastern and Western suburbs, linking them to the Western and Central Railway. The corridor includes the stations Versova, D. N. Nagar, Azad Nagar, Andheri, Western Express Highway, Chakala, Airport Road, Marol Naka, Sakinaka, Asalpha Road, Jagruti Nagar, and Ghatkopar.

What To Know About Aqua Line

The Mumbai Aqua Line (Metro Line 3) stretches 33.5 km underground, connecting Cuffe Parade in South Mumbai to Aarey in the north. It features 27 stations, including major stops such as Cuffe Parade, CSMT, Mumbai Central, BKC, and both Airport terminals (T1 and T2). With the final segment opening in October 2025, the entire line is now operational.
