Indians, if you are looking to apply for a Schengen visa for your next European holiday, you need to read this. VFS Global (Visa Facilitation Services) has announced the relocation of some of its visa application centres in Delhi and Mumbai. The relocation, effective from January 12, 2026, promises to bring in better applicant experiences and smoother services as they will shift to upgraded premises. The move comes in the peak travel season when the demand for Schengen visas is rising. 

VFS Global Relocates Delhi & Mumbai Visa Application Centres

In India, visa facilitation for the Schengen visa is looked after by VFS Global. Here are all the details about the relocation of the Delhi and Mumbai visa application centres. 

VFS Global: Delhi Visa Application Centre

The relocation will impact many countries, which are divided into two groups. The first group is Ireland, Denmark, Iceland, Malta, Slovenia, Croatia, Finland, Norway, Sweden, and the UK centres. 

Those looking to apply for a Schengen visa from Delhi, the Schengen Joint Visa Application Centre will shift to 27 KG Marg from Shivaji Stadium Metro Station. 

The full address is FS Global House, 27 Kasturba Gandhi Marg (KG Marg), Connaught Place, New Delhi. 

The relocation began from January 12, and it will be taking place in phases in order to ensure zero issues for the applicants. However, passport collection for the mentioned countries will be available from Shivaji Stadium until January 16. Take note that all the visa deliveries from January 19 will shift to KG Marg. 

The next group is Belgium, the Czech Republic, Hungary, Lithuania, Portugal, Germany, Austria, Bulgaria, the Netherlands, Cyprus, Estonia, Latvia, Poland, Slovakia, Switzerland, Luxembourg, and Malta (MES).  For this group, the visa centre at Shivaji Stadium will stop operations on January 16 and resume at KG Marg from January 19.  

VFS Global: Mumbai Visa Application Centre

Those looking to apply for an Austrian visa from Mumbai must also note the address change. The Austria Visa Application Centre in Mumbai has been relocated to the Urmi Axis Building in Mahalaxmi. Here’s the new address: Urmi Axis Building, Second Floor, behind Famous Studio, opposite E Moses Road, Mahalaxmi (West), Mumbai.

From application submission, biometric enrolment, to passport collection, everything will now be available at the new address as mentioned above.  The official VFS Global website also mentioned that all applicants must check and review the appointment letters and the website. This is especially for those with an appointment on or after January 27, to stay tuned about the relocation updates before arriving.

Delhites and Mumbaikars, the VFS Global is relocating its visa application centres, so make sure you check your appointment letters to know the address beforehand.
