This initiative allows passengers to savor authentic local dishes while traveling, bringing the essence of India’s culinary traditions right to their seats and enhancing their journey with a taste of regional specialities.
Passengers aboard the 20101/20102 Nagpur–Secunderabad Vande Bharat Express can enjoy a delightful selection of local cuisines, including Kanda Poha from Maharashtra, South Indian Dondakaya Karam Podi Fry, and the rich Andhra dish Andhra Kodi Kura.
On the 20901 MMCT–GNC Vande Bharat Express, travelers can savor the flavorful Methi Thepla from Gujarat, while those on the 26902 SBIB–VRL Vande Bharat Express can indulge in the Masala Lauki. For a taste of Odisha, the 22895 Howrah–Puri Vande Bharat Express features the popular Aloo Phulkopi.

Vande Bharat Trains Also Let You Savor Food From Kerala, West Bengal, Kashmir And More
Now, when it comes to other routes, passengers traveling on the Kerala routes, specifically the 20633/34 Kasargod–Trivandrum and the 20631/32 Mangalore–Trivandrum Vande Bharat Express, can experience a traditional feast that includes white rice, Kadala Curry, Kerala Paratha, plain curd, and Palada Payasam, along with Appam.
West Bengal delights include Kosha Paneer on the 20872 ROU–HWH Vande Bharat Express and Aloo Potol Bhaja on the 22895 HWH–PURI Vande Bharat Express.
For a taste of Bihar, the Champaran Paneer can be found on the 22349 PNBE–RNC Vande Bharat Express, while Champaran Chicken is served on the 22348 PNBE–HWH Vande Bharat Express. In terms of Dogri cuisine, passengers can enjoy Ambal Kaddu and Jammu Chana Masala on trains 26401–02 and 26403–04.

For those on the SVDK–SINA Vande Bharat Express, Kashmiri specialities such as Tomato Chaman and Kesar Phirni are available.
