Vagamon In Kerala Gets Its Longest Glass Bridge For Tourists!

You must already be familiar with those glass bridges that are portrayed by influencers featured all over social media. To make it more interesting for the tourists of Kerala, Vagamon village recently built a glass bridge, and the inauguration ceremony was done by PA Mohammed Riyas, the Tourism Minister. Situated at a height of 3,600ft above sea level on the hills of Vagamon, this incredible bridge is 40 meters in length. It gives you a perfect view of the nearby surroundings that are full of valleys, lush hills, and the Koottikkal and Kokkayar towns. At one time, the bridge could accommodate up to 15 individuals, and the entire bridge gets its support from a towering pole structure and robust steel cables.

Every individual can witness a stunning aerial view from the top of the Vagamon hill station. The steel material that was used for the construction of the bridge was specially imported from Germany to create this beauty, and 35 tonnes were used in total. A tourist named Nijas Muhammed stated that as you cross the transparent bridge, the view will make the tourist go down to their knees. It is that beautiful and outstanding. Travelers can take various parts in thrilling activities at the DTPC’s adventure tourism park, as the park is situated with the bridge itself. Apart from the Tourism Minister, Peermade MLA Vazhoor Soman, Udumbanchola MLA M M Mani, and K T Binu, the district panchayat was also a part of the inaugural ceremony.
