This cultural bonanza began in 1992 and the festival will celebrate its 34th anniversary in 2025. It gives a platform to about 400 artists from around the country to display their art and crafts.

Be it Chikan work from Lucknow, bamboo/cane work from the North East, or wood/stone carvings from Tamil Nadu, the festival provides a platform for old and rare crafts.

Agra Taj Mahotsav 2025: Major Attractions

The Agra Taj Mahotsav 2025 is being held at Shilpagram near the eastern gate of the Taj Mahal. In this 13-day long festival, tourists from all over the country as well as the world will attend the cultural extravaganza.

The 2025 edition of the festival is being advertised with the slogan ‘Sanskruti Ka Mahakumbh’ (A Mahakumbh Of Culture), signifying the amalgamation of India’s diverse cultural heritage at the festival.

At Shilpagram, the Arts and Crafts Mela will be held for all the days of the festival from 10:00 AM onwards. For the adrenaline junkies, the festival will also conduct the Agra Taj Bike Car Rally on 22nd and 23rd February.

Moreover, the festival will also include an enthralling Taj Nature Walk (28th February to 2nd March), a Taj Mahal Heritage Walk (18th to 27th February), A Floral Exhibition (22nd and 23rd February), Yamuna Maha Aarti (18th to 27th February) and various other programmes.

Many dignitaries from the music background will mark their presence at the Taj Mahal Mahotsav. These include:

  • Actor, singer, playwright, musician, and screenwriter Piyush Mishra.
  • Padma Shri Awardee, folk singer Malini Awasthi. She is also known as the Folk Queen of India.
  • Music composer and lyricist duo Sachet Tandon and Parampara Thakur, more popularly known as Sachet-Parampara.
  • Sabri Brothers, known for their whimsical Qawwali performances.

Tickets And Timings For Taj Mahotsav 2025

The tickets for Taj Mahotsav cost INR 50 per person, with children up to 3 years of age having free entry. School groups with 50 students in uniform will get an entry pass for INR 700, including two teachers’ tickets. Meanwhile, foreign tourists.

Visitors can buy the tickets at all the entry gates of the Taj Mahal. As per the official website, there is no separate ticket to cultural programs.

The festival will be from 18th February to 2nd March from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM
