However, Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari steers away from that conventional, cookie-cutter format and focuses on two couples – Sunny and Ananya (played by Varun Dhawan and Sanya Malhotra, respectively) and Tulsi and Vikram (played by Janhvi Kapoor and Rohit Saraf, respectively).
Under a strange circumstance, Ananya and Vikram decide to break off their respective relationships and marry each other. To win over their ex-partners, or maybe to make them realize their grave mistakes, Sunny and Tulsi team up to wreak chaos at Ananya and Vikram’s wedding. Raffles Udaipur
Makers of the movie had utilized the iconic Raffles Udaipur, a premium hotel, for filming. They had even constructed a special set inside the hotel for the movie. Actors Varun Dhawan and Janhvi Kapoor were spotted filming around many places around Lake Pichola – inarguably Udaipur’s most recognizable lake. It is an artificial lake that was constructed in 1362 to aid the freshwater supply for drinking and irrigation purposes. The lake has four islands within, with the Jag Mandir and Jag Niwas islands being particularly famous.
This lake is a great place to enjoy, especially at sunset. You can hop on a boat ride on the lake and watch the crimson sunset melting into the blue Udaipur skies. There are numerous ghats, essentially stepped platforms, that lead to the lake – take the Amarai and Gangaur Ghats, for example. You can watch the sunset, explore the different ghats and markets along the lake, enjoy food at the lakeside cafes, take heritage tours, and even opt for boat rides.

It has been featured not only in Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari but also in many other memorable Hindi films like Goliyon Ki Raasleela: Ramleela and Singham.
The ghat is beautiful to explore and relax by in the morning and noons but the real deal lies in visiting it in the evening. Soft, warm lights of the nearby houses and temples, the subtle, radiant glow from the opposite side of the ghat, and the slight chaos of the rushing crowd – all make it a must-have experience in the evenings.
