It’s time to dust off your party shoes, showcase your best dance moves, and celebrate, as Sunburn Festival, recognised as Asia’s largest electronic dance music (EDM) event, is all set to take place in Mumbai for the first time. Although the venue is yet to be revealed, the three-day festival is set to take place on December 19, 20, and 21 in Mumbai. This is a BIG moment, marking the first time the festival will be hosted outside of Goa since its inception in 2007. That’s right, the iconic Sunburn Festival is heading to Mumbai, and here’s everything we know so far!
Sunburn took to social media to make this big announcement. On Instagram, Sunburn said, “This December, we welcome you to a festival that goes BEYOND REALITY—filled with light, color, and rhythm. For the first time, Sunburn Festival will take place in MUMBAI, offering a bigger and better experience full of endless possibilities.”
While the venue and line-up are still undisclosed, the theme for Sunburn’s 2025 edition is “Ascend: Beyond the Real.” The organizers promise an immersive experience with enhanced production, stage designs, and infrastructure.

What To Know About Tickets And Booking For Sunburn Festival 2025

In 2024, the cost of single-day passes began at INR 4,000, while VVIP tables were priced from INR 15,000. We can anticipate similar pricing for the Mumbai event.
