Eligibility Criteria
Citizenship: You must be a non-EU/EEA citizen (Indian nationals qualify).
Remote Work: You work remotely as an employee of a foreign company or are self-employed with companies outside Spain.
Income Source: At least 80% of your income must come from outside Spain, with no more than 20% from Spanish sources.
Qualifications: You hold a university degree or have at least 3 years of relevant work experience.
Financial Means: You must have sufficient financial resources, approximately €2,763 (Rs 2,76,653) or 200% of Spain’s Minimum Interprofessional Salary (SMI), with additional amounts required for family members:
– €2,763 (100% SMI) for the main applicant
– An additional 75% of SMI for spouse or partner
– An additional 25% of SMI for each dependent child
Stable Income: You must demonstrate consistent income for 3-6 months through:
– Payslips
– Contracts
– Bank statements
– Tax filings
Health Insurance: You must have valid health insurance with full coverage in Spain.

- Get all your documents translated into Spanish.
- Make sure you carry the original documents.
- Try and learn basic Spanish.
- God forbid if your visa is rejected, you can appeal for reconsideration. The only catch is that you have to appeal within a month.
