When you think of Gujarat, two things likely come to mind: the Statue of Unity in Vadodara and the Rann Utsav in Kutch. The Statue of Unity is a year-round attraction, while Rann Utsav is only available for a limited time. This year, Rann Utsav 2025 will take place from October 23, 2025, to March 4, 2026. Since its start in 2006, the festival has been organized with the vision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Here’s everything you need to know about this colorful festival.

Rann Utsav 2025-26 will take place in Dhordo, transforming the area into a lively tent city for 100 days filled with cultural festivities in the breathtaking White Desert of Kutch. Launched by the Hon’ble Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, this renowned festival showcases the rich heritage, art, and natural beauty of Gujarat.

Organized by Gujarat Tourism, Rann Utsav is a grand celebration of music, dance, and culture specific to Gujarat, especially enchanting under the full moon’s glow on the white sands.

With the support of Gujarat Tourism, the festival features various activities, including traditional dance performances, cultural acts, camel safaris, musical moments, and more, within the Rann Utsav setting.

Held in Dhordo village, located 85 km from Bhuj, this district is known for its vibrant shopping experiences, offering authentic handicrafts, Bandhani sarees, traditional jewelry, and much more that will leave you in awe. Approximately 350 luxury tents will be set up, thanks to the well-coordinated efforts of the Government of Gujarat and its partners.

Visitors can also explore nearby attractions during Rann Utsav, including historical sites, wildlife sanctuaries (home to the famous wild ass), the Great White Rann of Kutch, museums, palaces, and forts.

How To Reach Rann Utsav 2025 

Visitors from around the world come to experience the festival. If you’re planning to attend Rann Utsav in 2025/2026, you can reach it by flying into Bhuj Airport, taking a train to Bhuj Railway Station, or driving there. There are also trains, buses, and flights available from Ahmedabad.

How Much Does It Cost
