In a move to enhance sustainability through creativity and contribute positively to the environment, Noida, a planned city in Uttar Pradesh is all set to introduce the Jungle Trail Park, with a budget of INR 22 crore. This isn’t just any park; it promises a one-of-a-kind experience. The Jungle Trail Park will feature an impressive collection of life-sized animal sculptures, all made from 500 tonnes of industrial and mechanical waste.
The park is set to welcome visitors for trial runs starting June 25, with the grand opening planned for July. Once operational, visitors will find over 700 animal sculptures, including majestic tigers, graceful giraffes, and powerful lions.
The park will also offer a special nighttime safari, where the sculptures will be beautifully lit up. Covering 20 acres, Jungle Trail Park was created through a public-private partnership between the Noida Authority and Z-Tech, a private firm. Furthermore, every pavilion, light fixture, and bench in the park is crafted from recycled materials, emphasizing its commitment to sustainability.
Jungle Trail Park To Have 4 Zones
The Jungle Trail Park will feature four distinct wildlife areas, each representing the unique animals found in those environments. These zones include the African Savannah, home to elephants, giraffes, lions, and the iconic grasslands; the Asian Jungles, where visitors can see vibrant birds, tigers, and deer; the Polar Regions, showcasing polar bears and penguins made from recycled industrial materials; and the Australian Outback, where emus and kangaroos can be observed.
This park aims to provide an exciting wildlife experience for visitors from Noida, Delhi, Greater Noida, and Faridabad, all within the city.
And while we are super excited for the jungle park, Noida is also getting its first-ever Deer Park and Sunset Safari. The park spans 30 acres and aims to provide visitors with a fun and educational experience, backed by an investment of INR 40 crore. It will feature 132 deer from 10 different species, creating a well-managed environment similar to a zoo. Some animals will be sourced from reputable zoos in Lucknow, Kanpur, and Hyderabad, while exotic species such as Springbok, Impala, Wildebeest, and Lesser Kudu will be imported from Africa. Additionally, the park will have a Sunset Safari running until 10 PM in the evenings. More information will be shared soon, so stay tuned!
