Half Marathon

Distance: 21.1 kilometers (km)

Registration fee: INR 2360

Minimum Age Requirement: 18 Years

The half marathon is for marathon runners and fitness enthusiasts who’ve been consistently participating in marathons and runs. However, that does not mean that beginners cannot participate in it at all! For half marathons, runners begin practicing months before the actual event! This is to improve their endurance, breath control, and body fitness levels. Many runners who cannot participate in full marathons (42 km) participate in half marathons instead.

10K Run

Distance: 10 km

Registration fee: INR 1770

Minimum Age Requirement: 14 Years

It’s completely fine even if you cannot run for 21.1 km, you can participate in the 10K run instead! A 10K run is comparatively easier – perfect for beginners and seasoned runners alike. If you’re participating in a marathon with your family, you can certainly try doing the 10K run!

5K Timed Run

Distance: 5 Km

Registration fee: INR 1180

Minimum Age Requirement: 10 Years

10K is not your cup of tea? Worry not, you also have the option of participating in a 5K timed run. It is perfect for both casual and competitive runners as it helps you know your endurance and time taken to finish the distance. If you’re completely new to running and don’t see yourself going directly for a 21 km or 10 km run, a 5 km run will be perfect for you!

5K Fun Run

Distance: 5 km

Registration fee: INR 885

Minimum Age Requirement: 6 Years

It is not just about winning, it is more about socializing with fellow runners and enjoying the spirit of running. If you’re a beginner and won’t mind making a few runner friends, a 5 km fun run might be what you need!

Mumbai Half Marathon has rolled out a special discount on its registration fees to encourage more and more runners to participate in the event. This discounted offer price will be valid till 30th May, 2025, so hurry up and register now! Here is the offer price for the different categories:

  • Half Marathon: INR 1350
  • 10K Run: INR 850
  • 5K Timed Run: INR 500
  • 5K Fun Run: INR 350

Note that the registration fee covers entry to the event, race day t-shirt, finisher medal, and breakfast. Other details such as the prize money, timings, and location will be disclosed closer to the event.

Mumbai Half Marathon: Rules To Know

  • Register at least 15 days before the event date to receive a customized marathon bib.
  • Registrations for the race are not transferable from one person to another. Cancellation and refund of registration fee will not be entertained in any case.
  • The bib expo will take place a day prior to the event. There will be no bib expo on the day of the event.
  • Mumbai Half Marathon does not allow spot registrations. Runners must register online to participate in the event.
  • Runners must wear the bib at all times during the course of their run. Wearing it on the back or interfering with it will result in direct disqualification from the winner’s list.
  • If you tamper with the bib tag in any way or exchange it with another runner, you won’t be able to get your official finish time as well as a certificate of the same.
  • Wheeled vehicles are prohibited on the venue and runners bringing wheeled vehicles will be disqualified from the race.
  • Runners will not be allowed to run with pets, babies, or other unregistered individuals.
  • Entry to the venue with gas balloons is strictly prohibited.
  • Mumbai Half Marathon encourages runners to come to the event with no baggage. However, there will be baggage counters for half marathon and 10K run participants only.
