Mumbai Fringe Festival, a one-of-a-kind festival, will be held in Mumbai from March 10 to March 15, 2026. It is all set to feature diverse genres like comedy, theatre, poetry, storytelling, and experimental performance across nearly 60 shows in the city. It is co-founded by Steve Gove and Simar Singh with a shared belief that India is now surely ready for the Fringe format.
The festival will kick off at the iconic Tata Theatre, NCPA, and will take place at several venues in Bandra, including 3 Art House, Khar Comedy Club (co-curation partner), and Indifferent @ Gharonda. Spanning six days, this event promises to transform Mumbai into a vibrant cultural hub. Audiences will have the opportunity to discover new voices, enjoy hilarious comedy, and experience the magic of storytelling, among other exciting activities.

The Indian edition of the Fringe will be hosting a powerful lineup of some of the leading Indian voices alongside internationally celebrated productions.
Comedy: The festival will feature artists such as Rohan Joshi, Kanan Gill, Varun Grover, Aakash Gupta, Priya Malik, Amandeep Khayal, Urooj Ashfaq, and Amit Tandon. It will also host shows like Queer Rated Comedy, 3 Of A Kind, Happily Ever Poofter, and more.
Theatre: Acclaimed global works like Nigel Miles Thomas’s Sherlock Holmes: The Last Act, a striking solo adaptation of Macbeth by The Shakespeare Edit, multi-award-winning The Chai Queens, and David Hoskin’s Haunted House.
Storytelling/ Poetry: The festival will host shows where artists will present their poetry and bring in the magic of storytelling and more at various Bandra venues.
