The TATA Mumbai Marathon 2026 is one of the most anticipated marathon events of the year, with participants registering from all over India as well as from around the world. Organized by Procam International and sponsored by Tata, the event will see about 70,000 participants participate in the event. With such an overwhelming participation, it is crucial to register on time so you don’t have to wait for next year’s marathon!

Unfortunately, the general registration for the TATA Mumbai Marathon 2026 has been closed due to an overwhelming response.
TATA Mumbai Marathon Route Map
A major highlight of the Mumbai Marathon 2026 is that the marathon will run not only along the iconic Bandra-Worli Sea Link but also along the newly-inaugurated Coastal Road! The new addition to the route map will allow people to run on this scenic seaside stretch of Mumbai’s newest landmark.
Here are the different marathon categories and their routes:
- Full Marathon
Distance: 42.195 km
The Full Marathon will start from the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus at 5 AM and will end at Mumbai Gymkhana, MG Road. It will run along Marine Drive, Bandra-Worli Sea Link, Haji Ali, and Coastal Road.
- Half Marathon
Distance: 21.097 km
The Half Marathon will start from the Mahim Reti Bunder Ground at 5 AM and end at the OCS Chowki. It will run along Marine Drive, Bandra-Worli Sea Link, Haji Ali, and Coastal Road.
- Open 10K
Distance: 10 km
Starting from the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus AT 6 AM, the Open 10K marathon will end at the Metro Theater, MG Road. The route will run along Marine Drive, National Center for Performing Arts, and the Princess Street Flyover.
- Dream Run
Distance: 5.9 km
The Dream Run category will start from the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus at 8:15 AM and end at the Metro Theater, MG Road. It will run along Azad Maidan, Marine Drive, and the Princess Street Flyover.
- Senior Citizens’ Run
Distance: 4.2 km
The Senior Citizens’ Run will start from the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus at 7:25 AM and end at the Metro Theater, MG Road. It will run along Azad Maidan and Marine Drive.
- Champions With Disability
Distance: 1.3 km
The Champions With Disability run will cover a distance of 1.3 km, starting from the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus at 7:05 AM and ending at the same spot.

TATA Mumbai Marathon 2026: Here’s What Runners Must Know!
Bib Collection:
The official website of the TATA Mumbai Marathon 2026 has mentioned details of the bib collection, including required documents.
Runners must collect their running number bibs from the Get Active Expo from Thursday, 15th January to Saturday, 17th January, 2026. Runners can do so by booking their bib pick-up time slot on the official website. If you’re an overseas or outstation participant, you will get a slot preference for Saturday, 17th January, 2026. Note that slots will be assigned on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Documents required to get the running number bib:
- Application confirmation (sent via email or WhatsApp or can be accessed from the runner’s profile on the official TATA Mumbai Marathon website)
- Government approved photo ID proof
- Government approved photo ID proof of the representative, and the participant if possible (if the participant is not able to collect their own bib and sends a representative on their behalf)
- Printed copy of group confirmation email sent to the group’s point person (in case of group registration)
- Printed copy of signed letter on the NGO/company letterhead authorizing the representative to collect the number bibs on behalf of the group (in case of group registration)
- Government approved photo ID proof of the representative ((in case of group registration)
The website has also stated that the organizers will not post running number bibs to individual mailing addresses for whatsoever reasons. They will not hand over bibs to any participant or representative post the declared closing hours of the Get Active Expo.
