And now, India will soon offer a similar experience! Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde has announced plans for an impressive 260-meter viewing tower in Thane, set to become the tallest in India.
This impressive structure will rise on a sprawling 50 acres along the Thane creek. Deputy Chief Minister Shinde stated that while the Eiffel Tower reaches 300 meters, this viewing tower will provide its own breathtaking perspective. Additionally, a convention center will be established in Kasarvadavali, along with a town park in Kolshet, enhancing the area’s appeal.

Thane To Also Get A Snow Park, Amusement Park, Bird Museum And More
Besides the viewing tower, Deputy Chief Minister Shinde shared exciting updates about various upcoming projects in Thane. Among them is a viewing deck at Thane Creek, alongside plans for a Koli Museum, an Aquarium, a Science Centre, an international-grade Snow Park, an Amusement Park, an Adventure Park, and a Bird Museum, all spread across 12.5 acres. Additionally, there are plans for a Musical Concert Centre on 25 acres and a modern Sports Complex on 50 acres.
The Anandvan Green Belt will also be developed, spanning 18.4 km near the Sanjay Gandhi National Park, close to the Mira Bhayandar boundary. These developments aim to enhance living standards for Thane residents and boost local growth. Deputy Chief Minister Shinde confirmed that the tendering process for most projects is in action, and everything will be built under a Build-Operate-Transfer (BOT) model, ensuring progress in the area.
