India inaugurated its first semi-high-speed rail service, the Vande Bharat Express, in February 2019. As of January 2025, there are 136 Vande Bharat Express trains operating throughout the country, linking various cities and regions. And now, Indian Railways has introduced two Vande Bharat trains in Rajasthan, enhancing the state’s transport network. These new services will operate on the Bikaner-Delhi and Jaipur-Jodhpur routes, further promoting connectivity within Rajasthan.
The introduction of Vande Bharat trains in Rajasthan is set to significantly enhance travel efficiency for both residents and visitors. These trains will minimize travel time and provide a more convenient journey.
Notably, one of the proposed routes will connect Bikaner and Delhi, drastically reducing the travel time by 1.5 hours, bringing the total journey down to just 6 hours and 20 minutes.
The Bikaner-Delhi Vande Bharat Express will operate with specific schedules: it will depart from Bikaner at 5:55 AM, arriving in Delhi at 12:15 PM. For the return trip, the train will leave Delhi at 4:30 PM and reach Bikaner by 10:50 PM. This route will include stops at Churu, Ratangarh, and Loharu, providing convenient access for travelers along the way.
Updates On Second Route Of Vande Bharat Trains In Rajasthan To Be Out Soon

Currently, Rajasthan operates multiple Vande Bharat Express trains, including routes from Jaipur to Udaipur, Ajmer to Delhi (via Jaipur), Bhagat Ki Kothi to Sabarmati, and Udaipur to Agra Cantt, enhancing regional connectivity and travel convenience.
