How To Get A Vip Pass For Lalbaugcha Raja

Lalbaugcha Raja is a Ganesh Pandal in Mumbai that perfectly captures the essence of Mumbai’s Ganeshotsav celebration. As arguably the most iconic Ganesh pandal of Mumbai with a history dating back to 1934, the pandal attracts millions of visitors every year for 10 days. However, many visitors are under this impression that the pandal offers VIP darshan services. Spoiler alert – they don’t! There’s no VIP Pass for Lalbaugcha Raja darshan and if there are any sites or portals saying so, you must best believe that they are not authorized.

Here’s all the information you must know before visiting Lalbaughcha Raja!

Is There A VIP Pass For Lalbaughcha Raja?

First things first, there are no VIP Passes available for visiting Lalbaugcha Raja!

Yes, it might be shocking for some of you, but there is no VIP Pass system for visiting this iconic pandal.

Despite multiple widespread rumors that there is a VIP or VVIP system for visiting Lalbaugcha Raja, the Lalbaugcha Raja Official Committee has officially denied claims and shut rumors about the same.

Note that there are two different lines for you to enter the Lalbaugcha Raja depending on the kind of darshan you wish to have!

One is the Navsachi Line (Charan Sparsh). Devotees can join this line if they wish to touch the coveted idol’s feet. This line is usually very long, with wait times that can extend to even 25 to 40 hours!

Many devotees join this line on the very first day or in early morning or noon hours on weekdays to encounter a lesser crowd.

The other line is called the Mukh Darshan Line. This line is for those who are fine even if they don’t get the opportunity to touch the idol’s feet.

As the name suggests, this line grants devotees a view of the idol. This line is comparatively shorter, with wait times being of only a few hours.

Should You Book A VIP Pass For Lalbaugcha Raja?

No, you should not believe in any rumors and claims that state there are VIP passes for Lalbaugcha Raja. There are many websites, online portals, and shady groups that sell fake, unauthorized ‘passes’ guaranteeing you entry into the Lalbaugcha Raja pandal.

These shady organizations charge exorbitant money from gullible devotees and engage in illegal activities. If you see any such online or offline advertisements promoting VIP Pass and darshan, we urge you to not blindly follow any such advertisement.

There is no official facility to get an online VIP Pass for Lalbaugcha Raja, so be cautious!

Balasaheb Kamble, President of the Lalbaugcha Raja Sarvajanik Ganeshotsav Mandal, has clarified in a statement, “Our mandal has not issued any VIP or VVIP passes, either online or offline.

If anyone is trying to extort money under the pretext of offering such passes, please inform the police immediately.”

Celebrities Attending Lalbaughcha Raja: Do They Have VIP Passes?

Many devotees believe that celebrities and prominent personalities attending Lalbaugcha Raja might have access to VIP or VVIP Pass.

However, the official committee behind the pandal has clearly stated that there is no such arrangement for anyone – commoners and celebrities alike.

Prominent personalities and film and tv celebrities get priority in the darshan line due to their tight security and risk of being mobbed or chased by the common public.

So, if you believe that your favorite actor got priority entry into the Lalbaugcha Raja pandal, you best believe that it is due to their sheer reputation (and the risks associated with it) rather than a VIP or VVIP Pass exclusively for them!

No Free Meals For 24 Hours: Shutting Down Other Rumors

Kamble also clarified the management will not provide free meals to devotees for 24 hours. Additionally, he also cleared out that no such arrangement has been made at Peru Compound.

The official committee has made basic arrangements for food and water for devotees, just like each year. While their volunteers will be on their toes to ensure that these requirements are facilitated to devotees, there will be no large-scale dining facility arranged for devotees round the clock.
