Media outlets reported in August 2024 that the cast and crew headed to Punjab for a critical schedule of the film. In fact, a major chunk of the film has been shot in the gorgeous, rustic locales of Punjab.

Media sources claimed that the production prepared for a 45-50-day shoot schedule in Punjab. While Rakul Preet Singh, R. Madhavan, and other cast members began shooting for the film in Punjab in November 2024, Ajay Devgn joined them later after a Son of Sardar 2 schedule in the United Kingdom (UK).
While all locations of the De De Pyaar De 2 Punjab shooting schedule haven’t been disclosed, it is confirmed that the film was shot in Patiala from September to October 2024. We’re talking about the scenic green fields of Patiala’s villages, the sun-kissed plains, and an extraordinary blend of culture and heritage. Here, the film was majorly shot in a rustic bungalow and a khet (farm). However, as Anshul Sharma contracted dengue fever, the schedule was cut short and then finished in February 2025.
