Rohit has already set out on his expedition on the 6th of February, 2023, and is currently cycling through West Bengal. His route started from Nagpur and the plan is to cover 7 states up to Arunachal Pradesh, which totals to a whopping 2,450 km distance!

The final goal of this cycling tour is to enroll in a Basic Mountaineering Course in Dirang by the 20th of March. Such a challenging course requires one to build stamina. And according to Rohit, a solo cycling trip is the best way to built that!
This is not his first rodeo! His first cycling trip was from Vasai to Chandrashila Chopta in 2018. The tour covered 7 states, which added up to a distance of 1,985 km.
Rohit and his wife Ayushi founded Chalo Chale to encourage people to get out of their 9-5 lives. They wanted people to experience nature through cycling. Rohit’s current cycling tour is an ode to his family, and will also be a key milestone their lives. Chalo Chale hopes that this incredible journey will inspire all those who need the push to get out there and do what they love!
